Once upon a time…a tortoise and a rabbit had an argument about who was faster?

They decided to settle the argument with a race.

The rabbit quickly raced ahead, leaving the tortoise far behind. Feeling confident, the rabbit took a break under a tree and fell asleep.

The tortoise plodding on overtook him and soon finished the race.

The rabbit woke up and realized that he’d lost the race.

Indeed, this is a story that many of us have grown up with, haven’t we?

But no one tells us what happened afterward.

The story continues…

After losing the race, the Rabbit became the butt of jokes in the jungle.

Hoh…! Rabbit, where are you going?

“No…no…nowhere. Just to get some ca…carrots!”

CARROTS?

If you want faster, let us know we will ask the tortoise to bring it for you…

(a cacophony of laughter)

The clan of rabbits used to live on the ground like any other animal in the jungle…but after this shameful defeat, they all decided to live in burrows.

The rabbit was depressed and took some time for self-reflection.

He soon realized that his overconfidence, carelessness, and laziness were the reasons for his defeat.

If he had not taken things for granted, there’s no way the tortoise could have beaten him in the race.

So, he challenged the tortoise to another race.

The tortoise agreed.

This time, the rabbit went all out and ran without stopping from start to finish.

He won by several miles.

The lesson to take away?

Persistence isn’t just a choice when you’re slow — it’s a must.

Yet, even with persistence, you might never overcome someone who’s both fast and resolute.

This isn’t just a story.

It is a mirror reflecting reality itself — the reality of the mightiest company on Earth: Google.
