New Models Releases

One of the most exciting announcements at DevDay was the launch of a preview of the next generation of ChatGPT, GPT-4 Turbo. GPT-4 Turbo is a large multimodal model that can understand and generate natural language or code and image inputs and outputs (coming soon). GPT-4 Turbo is more capable and knows world events up to April 2023. It also has a 128K context window, which means it can fit the equivalent of more than 300 pages of text in a single prompt. Moreover, GPT-4 Turbo is cheaper and faster than the previous version of ChatGPT, GPT-4, which was released in March 2023 and made generally available to all developers in July 2023.
